Brief von Leipzig (SBZ) in den Bizone (Plößberg) vom 29.7.1948. Dieser wurde mit 240 Pf Briefmarken der Kontrollratsserie frankiert. Aufgrund der 1/10-Wertigkeit daher korrekt mit 24 Pf frankiert. Die Zehnfachfrankatur war bis zum 31.7.48 in der SBZ gültig. In der Bizone wurde die Frankatur nicht anerkannt und mit 1,5-facher Nachgebühr (36 Pf) belegt.

The ten-fold franking was valid in the SOZ until July 31, 1948. In the Bizone, the franking was not accepted and was subject to 1.5 times the surcharge (36 Pf).
